Hindi is the mother of all languages: DBMS College principal

Jamshedpur, Sep 14: Hindi Diwas was celebrated with immense joy and dignity at D.B.M.S. College of Education. The event was organized by the Literary Club.
In her address, the Principal of the college, Dr. Joohi Samarpita, said that Hindi is the mother of all languages and we should never feel hesitant or ashamed to speak it. She emphasized that Hindi is our identity and a language of pride. Vice-Principal, Dr. Monika Uppal, in her remarks, highlighted that there are certain culturally rooted words in Hindi that cannot be translated, which makes the language deeply connected with our culture and heritage.

On this occasion, third-semester student Priyanka Kumari mesmerized the audience with her self-composed poem. The B.Ed. students Tanya Kumari, Nikita Kumari, Neha Kumari, and Ankita Kumari added vibrance to the event through their graceful dance performance.

The highlight of the program was the presentation by theatre artist Dinkar Sharma. His impactful performances of the plays “Pakshi aur Deemak” and “Mere Hone Ka Matlab” left the audience spellbound.

Students and teachers from R.M.S. Balichela were also invited to the event. It was particularly noteworthy that many of the invited teachers were alumni of the B.Ed. program at D.B.M.S. College of Education, which created an emotional connection during the celebration.

College Secretary Sripriya Dharmarajan, Joint Secretary Sudha Dilip and others were present.
