Jamshedpur, September 10: World Suicide Prevention Day was observed at Hill Top School on Saturday, September 10.
The event began with a Slogan Writing and Poster Making Competition. A rally was organized by Class XI students from Hill Top School to various areas of Telco displaying banners on “Suicide Prevention”.
This was followed by a Panel Discussion on the topic “Handling stress and avoiding surrender”.
3 students (Subhashish, Reetika & Tvisha Pankaj of classes 11 & 12) , 2 teachers (Ritu Mathur & Sheeja Abraham) from Hill Top School and two parents participated in the discussion, which was watched by about 200 students of Senior classes.
There was a workshop for Class XI students on “Anxiety Management”. 2 short movies on “Rekindling Hope” were shown to the students.
