Hill Top student shines in National Debate

Jamshedpur : Students of Hill Top School proved their mettle at the ASISC National Debate Competition which was organised by the Association of Schools for the Indian School Certificate (ASISC).

A total of 57 students from various ICSE schools from across the country participated in the competition. The one-day event saw students from various schools from 10 regions under ICSE – Andhra Pradesh, Bihar/ Jharkhand, Odisha/ Chattisgarh, North West (Gujarat/Rajasthan), North, UP/ Uttarakhand, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Kerala and Tamil Nadu.

Abhijit Kumar of Hill Top School, Jamshedpur, after two elimination (Zonal & Regional) rounds was selected for the Nationals, where he bagged the 1st Prize as well as Best Speaker Award in the ASISC National Debate Competition 2013. Abhijit Kumar had earlier cleared the Zonal as well was Regional Level to represent the Jharkhand / Bihar Region at the National Level.
