Hill Top School: Mothers, kids exhibit talent at Mum’s day

Jamshedpur, Sept. 24: Hill Top School celebrated Mum’s day at the school campus on Saturday.

98 nursery students along with their mothers participated in series of events. The celebration began with an encouraging speech and a welcome song “I Love You Mummy ” which was presented by Nursery children to welcome their mothers. Safety tips were then given to mothers after which a fun quiz was organized.

Dance events by the little boys and girls were also presented. The special attraction of the show was the Ramp Walk by the Nursery Students where they were dressed as brides and bridegrooms. This was followed by competitive events involving mothers & their children.

They were: Best out of Waste – The mother and their children made useful items using plastic bottles and toffee wrappers. Gift Wrapping – The mothers and their children made gift wrapping papers using old newspapers. A Fancy Dress contest saw the mothers dressed their children as their favourite cartoon character.

The children as well as the mothers participated enthusiastically in all the events. This was followed by the prize distribution.

In best out of waste- first prize went to Mrs. Ritu Singh – Mother of Sanket Kumar (Nursery Giraffe), second prize was won by Mrs. Monalisha Das – Mother of Sumona Das (Nursery Zebra) while third prize was bagged by Mrs. Prity Kumari – Mother of Avni Chandra (Nursery Dalmatians).

In gift wrapping- Mrs. Rashmi Karna – Mother of Raj Divyanshu (Nursery Dolphin) won the first prize followed by Mrs. Ritika Chandra – Mother of Aarush Kumar (Nursery Goldfish) and Mrs. Aarti Raj Srivastava – Mother of Aradhya Srivastava (Nursery Dolphin).

In the fancy dress contest- Mrs. Sthitapragnya Padhy – Mother of Sanvi Suvidya Patra (Nursery Dolphin) won the first prize.
