Jamshedpur, July 8: Two thrilling semi-final matches in the inter-school category of the Tata Motors Football Tournament were held on July 8, 2025, at the Sumant Moolgaokar Stadium. Organized under the aegis of Tata Motors Sports Department, the event saw young footballers showcase their skill and determination.
In the first semi-final, Hill Top School displayed a dominating performance against Gopa Bandhu School, scoring three goals and securing a spot in the final. Their aggressive play and tight defense left little room for their opponents to recover.
The second semi-final featured a close contest between Shiksha Niketan and Vidya Bharati Chinmaya Vidyalaya. Both teams held ground in the first half, but Chinmaya turned the tide in the closing minutes, netting two goals to win the match 2–0 and advance to the final.
The team category will witness a face-off between Indigo Fighters and Prima Challengers, while the inter-school final will be played between Vidya Bharati Chinmaya Vidyalaya and Hill Top School. The tournament has not only brought competitive spirit to the fore but has also encouraged student participation and sportsmanship.
