Jamshedpur, April 29: Grand Parents’ Day was celebrated at Hill Top School by students of UKG to honour the grandparents & emphasize on the bonding between the generations.
The event began with a welcome speech by a UKG student. There were dances, songs and oratory presented by UKG to thank & entertain their grandparents.
The grandparents of students of UKG participated in various competitions too.
Three contests including diya decoration, wall hanging and just be your selfie were held.
In the diya decoration contest first prize was won by S.S Nagi, Daljit Kaur and Rajjit Kaur. Second prize went to Indira C Adeshara and third prize was bagged by Ashok Kumar Das and Pranti Das.
In wall hanging contest Jassa Singh and Joginder Kaur won first prize. In just be your selfie first prize went to Om Prakash Sharma and Nirupama Devi and second prize was bagged by Gurucharan Singh and Harjeet Kaur
