Jamshedpur, Oct 16: Hidaya Gold Cup Football Tournament will be organized under the aegis of Hidaya International School at Mango Gandhi Maidan from October 23.
All the matches of the tournament will be played on league basis. The winner of this 20-day tournament will be awarded 25 thousand rupees cash prize and the runner-up will get 15 thousand rupees along with trophy, said Chairman of the organizing committee Dr Afroz Shakeel and Afroz Aslam Guddu.
Addressing a press meet at Mango Gandhi Maidan on Sunday, they informed that after almost two years of COVID-19, we are trying to create sporting environment at Gandhi Maidan. A total of 12 teams will participate in the tournament while the last date of registering is October 21.
Best goalkeeper, highest scorer, best player and best disciplined team will also be awarded during the tournament. Also present at the press conference were Md Tahir Hussain, Mohammad Umar, Sonu, Messi (7903950734), Aamir, Md Khalid, Raju, Saif, Zayed, Afridi, Umair and others were present.
