Hemant Soren has proposed to bring changes in the CNT: Ragubar

Jamshedpur : BJP’s national vice president and former deputy Chief Minister of the state Raghubar Das has alleged that Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren has proposed to bring changes in the Chottanagpur Tenancy Act (CNT) for his personal benefits.

We are of the opinion that to hide its crime the JMM is spreading baseless statements regarding changes being made in the SPT Act also,’ Das said in a press conference here adding that the Union Coal Minister has clearly said that the Centre has no plans to bring any changes in the SPT Acts.

During the last 14 months Hemant Soren government has only done scams. ‘If the BJP is voted into power it would probe the scams in water irrigation department, road construction department and nutritional food supply scam and the culprits would be put in jail,’ he said.

He said that Saree-Dhoti Yojana was only a ‘ political gimmick’ and was only implemented in few districts of the Santhal Pargana region. Mr Das alleged that the gram panchayts were denied their rights over ‘balu ghats’ and was sold to the corporate companies. Das said that during the tenure of Hemant Soren anarchy was prevailing in the state.

“Hemant Soren Government does not have the visions to make Jharkhand prosperous. The Ministers too doesn’t know how to rule a state,” the BJP leader said. He further said that Hemant Soren’s days as the head of Jharkhand were numbered as the people would teach him and his party (JMM) a lesson in the next Assembly elections.

Das has demanded a probe against all the Ministers for their alleged disproportionate assets accumulated ever since the formation of separate state Jharkhand.

Latter he said that the Congress Party is responsible for favouring corruption and giving rise poverty in the State. Just for the sake of rigging funds and resources of the State, Congress leaders conspired to topple BJP Government.
