Ramgarh: Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren visited his ancestral residence in Nemra village of Ramgarh district today, where he was accorded a warm and traditional welcome by local residents and party workers.
Upon his arrival, villagers greeted the Chief Minister with customary rituals reflecting the rich tribal and local cultural heritage of the region. Women performed a traditional aarti, applied a tilak on his forehead, and welcomed him with flowers and folk songs. The atmosphere in the village turned festive as people gathered in large numbers to catch a glimpse of the Chief Minister and extend their greetings.
During his visit, Soren interacted with villagers, elders, and community representatives, inquiring about their well-being and local development issues. He also spent time with family members at his ancestral home, underscoring his deep-rooted connection with Nemra and the surrounding areas.
Local leaders described the visit as emotional and significant, noting that despite holding high office, the Chief Minister continues to maintain close ties with his native village. Security arrangements were in place to ensure the smooth conduct of the programme.
The visit not only highlighted Soren’s personal bond with his ancestral roots but also reinforced his engagement with grassroots communities in Ramgarh district.
