Jamshedpur, July 18: A speeding dumper truck hit a goods auto-rickshaw near Burmamines Mixing Plant on Monday. The auto-rickshaw driver had a narrow escape from death, sources said.
According to sources, the auto-rickshaw was damaged in the impact and its driver was somehow taken out of the vehicle and sent to MGM Hospital. The truck driver fled the scene after the incident.
Police reached the scene and seized the truck. They said a case had been registered against the truck driver for reckless driving.
