Heat wave to singe Jharkhand till June 14

Ranchi, June 10: Amidst the heat wave in Jharkhand, there are chances of rain in some districts.

Some areas of the capital Ranchi received light rain on Monday afternoon, while in many areas people were troubled by the scorching sun and severe heat. The mood of the weather changed again after noon. This brought relief to the people. In a few hours, there will be rain with thunder in some districts including Ranchi. There is also a possibility of lightning.

Heat wave conditions can be seen in some places in Garhwa, Palamu, Chatra, Deoghar, Godda, Jamtara and Dumka on June 11. Orange alert has been issued regarding this.

On June 12, heat wave conditions can be seen in Latehar, Lohardaga, Hazaribagh, Koderma, Giridih, Dhanbad, Bokaro, Ramgarh, Ranchi, Simdega, West Singhbhum, Gumla, Khunti, East Singhbhum and Saraikela Kharsawan. A yellow alert has been issued regarding this.

Heat wave will wreak havoc in the state till June 14. Meanwhile, people will get relief from rain in some districts.

The Meteorological Department has forecast that there is a possibility of rain with thunder in Ranchi city during the next three hours. There is also a possibility of lightning during this period. Strong winds (30-40 kmph) can also blow.
