Jamshedpur, April 4: It is scorcher days as April marks its initial advent. Prevailing conditions have prompted schools in Jamshedpur to readjust class timings. The Met Department has issued a yellow alert while forecasting hot winds for the next four days. People are virtually covering up from head to foot while venturing outdoors. Cold drinks specially fruit juices are being consumed as safe relief from the heat crunch.
In response to the challenging conditions, many schools have proactively altered their timings to ensure the well-being of students. Loyola School and Bistupur DAV School have modified their schedules accordingly. At DAV School, classes will now be conducted between 6:30 am and 12:15 pm, with the Principal emphasizing the importance of ensuring students being fed adequately before attending school. Parents have been urged to take necessary precautions to safeguard their children from the effects of the prevailing heat wave.
