Jamshedpur, Oct 30: As part of the centenary celebration of the Andhra Association, a special health and hygiene awareness program was organized at Andhra Association English School, Kadma, under the guidance of the Rotary Club of Femina, Jamshedpur and in collaboration with the school’s Interact Club.
The session educated girl students on menstrual hygiene and the important topics of “Good Touch and Bad Touch.” Rotary Club of Femina members including President Dr. Renuka Chaudhary, Vice-President Vasanti, Seema Kumar, Janavi, Sudesna Chattopadhyay, Shashi Gadia, Neetu and Padma led the awareness drive.
The event also featured hemoglobin and sugar level testing for teachers and staff. Andhra Association representatives Major K. Satya Narayan, Shailaja, Principal Piyali Mukherjee and Vice-Principal Utpala Ghoshal were present. Principal Mukherjee expressed gratitude, saying, “Such initiatives help create awareness and empower young girls with essential health knowledge.” The event concluded with a vote of thanks to Rotary Club Femina and Interact Club for their valuable collaboration.
