Jamshedpur: The headmaster of Adarsh Arakshi Madhya Vidyalaya, Golmuri, Rana Pratap Singh, was accorded a warm farewell on Thursday.
A valedictory ceremony was organized at Dusadh Bhavan, Golmuri, by his colleagues. The chief guest of the occasion was district BJP president Dinesh Kumar. He gave a letter of appreciation to Singh and praised him for his sincerity and punctuality.
The school officials said Rana Pratap Singh had made a great contribution in improving the academic environment in the 34 years of his service.
Expressing his gratitude to one and all, Singh said he would remain active in the field of education and development even after retirement.
The programme was conducted by Arbind Tiwary. A welcome speech was given at the beginning by Rajesh Ranjan while a vote of thanks was proposed by Satish Prasad.
