Seraikela: State BJP president cum MP of Chaibasa Laxman Gilua today said the state government was providing jobs to youths on a priority basis.
He said the initiatives being taken by the government in this regard would help prevent migration of people from Jharkhand to other states. He said the government was organizing Rojgar Mela in all districts of Jharkhand to providing jobs to youths. He said the government had organized Global Investors� Summit in February this year to create job opportunities for the local youth.
Gilua was speaking as a chief guest diromg the Dattpant Thengri Rojgar Mela organized in Seraikela by the Labour Employment and Training Department, Government of Jharkhand.
He handed appointment letters to youths who clinched jobs at the fair. A large number of youths turned up on the occasion to benefit from the event. A total of 2000 applications were received against a total of 3852 vacancies.
Finally, 165 candidates were selected by various companies, out of whom 171 were shortlisted for interview.
