Jamshedpur, Aug 20: Tata Steel Sports Department�s Handball Training Centre Coach Hassan Imam Mallick has been nominated as Technical Officer for the 8th Asian Women�s Youth Handball Championship scheduled to be held at Jaipur from August 21 � 30, 2019.
Earlier, Hassan was appointed as Manager of the Indian Senior Men Handball team for the International Handball Championship at Tashkent (Uzbekistan) held in September 2018. He is also a member of the Technical Committee of Handball Federation of India.
The Tata Steel Handball Training Centre currently has more than 50 trainees and has been instrumental in grooming talented youngsters who have made it to the State and National level teams.
Tata Steel Sports Department officials have congratulated Mallick for being chosen for the important assignment in a significant tournament at the Asian level.
