Jamshedpur: Global Handwashing Day was observed on Saturday at SDSM School. The students were informed about the significance of washing hands to keep them clean.
The main purpose of the programme was to tell students about the need to maintain personal hygiene and inform them about the benefits of washing hand.
The students were asked to wash their hands before eating. Many students and teachers participated in the programme.
Among those present on the occasion included the principal Shyamali Virdi, vice principal Ragini Singh and convenor Meera Pal.
