Hand Wash Day at KPS Kadma promotes hygiene awareness

Jamshedpur, April 5: Hand Wash Day was observed at KPS Kadma with a series of activities aimed at promoting hygiene and health awareness among students, faculty, and staff. Principal Sharmila Mukherjee and Headmistress Alamelu Ravishankar were present on the occasion.

The Pre-Primary Segment of KPS Kadma emphasized the importance of proper hand hygiene in preventing the spread of illnesses and diseases. The programme commenced with a hand wash song performed by the students, followed by a poem and thought-provoking quotations delivered by the LKG and UKG students respectively.

Various techniques for effective hand washing, stressing the use of soap and water for at least 20 seconds, were elaborated throughout the event. Colorful posters and banners adorned classrooms, illustrating the steps of proper hand washing and reinforcing the message of cleanliness and hygiene.

Students, guided by their teachers, performed hand washing drills showcasing their enthusiasm for maintaining good hygiene practices. The Academic Director, Principal, and Headmistress expressed their delight at the successful event, highlighting the school’s commitment to promoting health and hygiene practices.
