Jamshedpur, November 28: The dead body found near Jamshedpur Workers College under Mango police station of Jamshedpur has been identified as Ganesh Sahu (40), resident of Mango Daiguttu.
Shanti Devi, the wife of the deceased, told that her husband earlier used to sell Idli Dosa near Mango Payal Talkies. After that he went to Mumbai. When the deceased’s father died, he returned to Jamshedpur on November 3, where he had been working as an artisan in a hotel at Dimna Chowk.
After having food, put the mobile on charge and left the house saying that he would come back in some time. After this the family remained worried the whole night but they did not return home. When there was an uproar on Tuesday morning, the local people came to know that he had been killed and burnt. The wife told that he had no enmity with anyone. The police have started investigating the matter. Local resident Durga Singh said that on Tuesday morning, when people nearby came to the river bank for defecation, they saw the dead body. The smell of kerosene was coming from the dead body.
