Jamshedpur : Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s 548th Prakash Parv organised by Central Gurdwara Prabandhak Committee (CGPC) concluded with kirtan darbar on Thursday.
At the event Jusco MD Ashish Mathur, Jusco Electrical DGM Manmohan Singh, Chitranjan Verma and Navneet Singh representative of minister Saryu Rai, Parvinder Singh representative of MP Pradeep Balmuchu were felicitated with shawl, kirpan and memento.
Addressing the gathering, Ashish Mathur said, ‘I have had a close relation with Sikh community and have got their support while working abroad and elsewhere in the country.
I have been deeply impressed by their patriotism, support and spirit of service which fulfills the desire of the people of Steel City’.
CGPC President Inderjit Singh said, the Sikh community has been grateful to Tata group and large population of the community resides in East India and has its own identity in the country. He also appealed the parents to stop their children from performing stunts on motorbikes during Nagar kirtan.
At the event, Jaswant Singh Bhoma, Hardayal Singh, Surjeet Singh, Surjeet Singh Sitte, Nishan Singh, Jasbeer Singh, Trilochan Singh, Gurdeep Singh, Gurcharan Singh Billa, Nanak Singh, Raju Marwah, Sukhwinder Singh Raju, Sakchi Gurudwara Prabandhak committee and students of Guru Nanak High School were present.
