Jamshedpur, Sept 1: Tata Motors Sports Department organized the Inter-School Cross Country Race for boys and girls on the occasion of National Sports Day. The competition concluded on Sunday with enthusiastic participation.
A total of 446 students from 14 schools including Little Flower, Hill Top, VBCV, Gulmohar, Guru Govind Singh High School, Shiksha Niketan, SK Public School, Gopabandhu, Valley View, Telco Urdu School, Vivek Vidyalaya, ABMP High School, and MEU Laxminagar competed in different categories.
Guru Govind Singh High School emerged as the overall champion, winning in Senior Boys with 87 points and Senior Girls with 28 points. Valley View School also secured the championship title in its respective category.
The event’s Chief Guests included General Manager Ghulam Mandal, General Manager Pranav Kumar, Head of Administration V.N. Singh, and Head of Municipal Administration Rajat Kumar Singh. They felicitated the winners and encouraged students to embrace sportsmanship and fitness.
