Jamshedpur, April 2: Gulmohur High School inaugurated the Swimming Club in collaboration with the Telco Club. The chief guest on the occasion was Rakesh Sarangi, General Manager – Central Maintenance.
Among those present on the occasion were other dignitaries from the Managing Committee, parents of participants and students. Rakesh Sarangi was acknowledged for his pivotal role in conceptualizing the Swimming Club for the students of Gulmohur High School.
The inauguration of the Swimming Club was conducted jointly by Rakesh Sarangi and other dignitaries.
Simran from class 6B shared her enthusiasm and emotions on being a part of the Swimming Club, reflecting the excitement among the students.
Speaking at the event, Principal Priti Sinha emphasized the holistic benefits of swimming, highlighting its significance in fostering physical and mental well-being, discipline, and social interaction.
The meticulously designed swimming classes cater to students from class 2 to class 6, ensuring expert guidance from trainers of Telco Club and school faculty members to guarantee safety and proper supervision.
The event included informative sessions by the swimming instructor from Telco Club, providing parents with essential guidelines and safety measures related to swimming.
Rakesh Sarangi, in his address, expressed his appreciation for the initiative and encouraged students to make the most of the opportunities provided by the Swimming Club.
