Gulmohur High School Jamshedpur felicitates ICSE achievers

Jamshedpur, July 27: Gulmohur High School honoured its Class X students for their outstanding achievements in the ICSE Board Examinations 2023 at a special Felicitation Ceremony. The event was graced by Nilanjana Mohanty, Deputy General Manager of Business HR at Tata Motors, Jamshedpur, as the Chief Guest, and Amrita Singh, also Deputy General Manager of Business HR at Tata Motors, Jamshedpur, as the Guest of Honour. The ceremony highlighted the exceptional accomplishments of students in academics, extracurricular activities, and community service.

During the event, the prestigious Audbhidya Award was presented to six students who excelled academically by securing 95% and above in their board exams. The awardees—Ashi Kumari, Mantasha Ali, Dhruv Agarwal, Harsh Prabhat, Rijul Tripathi, and Priyanka Shah—were honoured with plaques and tablets to encourage digital literacy. Mantasha Ali was also recognized with the Tata Cummins Young Achiever’s Award for achieving the highest marks in the pre-ICSE examination, while Ashi Kumari received the Principal’s Award for her exceptional overall performance.

The ceremony featured a vibrant cultural program, including a school choir performance and a captivating dance, showcasing the school’s commitment to holistic development. Nilanjana Mohanty praised the students and faculty for their hard work and dedication, urging them to continue striving for excellence in their future endeavors.

In addition to the awards, the ceremony recognized the subject toppers: Ashi Kumari for English, Geography, Mathematics, and Computer Applications; Harsh Prabhat, Rijul Tripathi, Nikhil Kumar, and Gurpreet Kaur for Hindi; Priyanka Shah and Mantasha Ali for History and Civics; Dhruv Agarwal for Physics and Economic Applications; and Debojyoti for Economic Applications. The successful organization of the event was led by Principal Priti Sinha and Vice Principal Archana Srivastava, with process owners Jaswinder Kaur, Smita Sahu, and Mukesh Kumar Jha playing crucial roles.
