Greenfield School to host seventh annual day today

Jamshedpur: Greenfield School is all set to celebrate its seventh annual day at the Fasy Auditorium (Loyola School) on Sunday, December 10. The Pre-School situated at Sonari and Kadma will host series of events to mark the day. 230 students of both the branches of the school will present cultural programmes based on the theme ‘Love’, said, Ekta Agarwal, Principal of the school.

Addressing a press conference at the Sonari branch of the school on Saturday, Agarwal, informed that the event will kick off with the silent national anthem to be staged by 18 KG students. Chief Guest for the occasion will be Rajani Shekhar, Principal, DBMS English School.

Ekta Agarwal further said that dance drama on importance of girl child will also be staged by the students of the school.
Talking about imparting education to the underprivileged, Ekta Agarwal informed that ‘Greenfield Pathshala’ was started in November 2017 with the motive to educate children from the financially weak background, help in all round development and lay foundation for a better future.

She further said that Pathshala runs at both the Kadma and Sonari branch of the school where children aged 2 to 5 years are admitted and classes are held from 2 pm to 5 pm from Monday to Friday. Total of 24 students have been admitted at the school and number would go up soon, added Agarwal.

She went on to say that after the 5 years completion of the students they are admitted to some of the renowned schools of the city for further education.
Sunanda Kar, Coordinator, Sonari branch and Aishwariya Banerjee, coordinator, Kadma branch were also present at the press meet.
