Grandparents plant saplings during Van Mahotsav

Jamshedpur: Eco Club students of Kerala Samajam Model School (KSMS) under the guidance of Principal, Nandini Shukla and eco club moderators Sheela Sudhakaran and J. Chhaya began its environment revolution on 5th July with greening mother land.

Van Mahotsav Saptah was celebrated with a difference wherein grandparents were invited to plant saplings along with their grandchildren in the school premises. The intention behind such a drive was to inculcate consciousness and love for trees among the future generation.

Tree plantation drive was followed by a poster making session where the grandparent along with their grandchildren took active part to add colour to their imagination of a world without trees.
