Jamshedpur, Oct 4: S.D.S.M. School for Excellence celebrated Grandparents’ Day on 4th October 2024 in the school auditorium, honouring the invaluable role of grandparents in the family. The event aimed to express gratitude for their love, guidance, and life lessons, reinforcing the importance of family values.
The celebration began with the ceremonial lamp lighting, accompanied by Shloka chanting. The program featured a welcome dance, song performances, and engaging games for both grandfathers and grandmothers. Students also recited Hindi poems and Durga Stuti, adding a spiritual touch to the occasion.
The highlight was the Ramp Walk of Gratitude, where children expressed their appreciation, delighting the grandparents. The event concluded with Durga Puja greetings, and each grandparent received a small token of appreciation for their presence.
