Jadugora: A meeting of Regional Gram Sabha Federation, Kolhan Division, was organized at Paryavaran Chetna Kendra, Bada Sikdi in Potka, on Saturday.
It was presided over by the advisor to the outfit Sidheshwar Sardar.
At the meeting, the outfit members discussed the work done by the gram sabhas in the last one year, the drawbacks and ways to empower the gram sabhas.
It was unanimously decided to organize the next meeting of the Federation on 28th march in Ranchi. The outfit members paid homage to late Amulyo Sardar, former MLA of Potka, by observing silence for two minutes.
Among those present at the meeting included Jagdish Lakra, Harish Alda, Salge Mardi, Purnima Biruli, Basanti Sardar, Lakhan Chandra Murmu and Vijay Deogam.
