Jamshedpur, Feb 6: The Graduation Ceremony, for the outgoing batch of Std XII (‘23-‘24) D.B.M.S. Kadma High School students was organized in ‘Kalakriti,’ the school auditorium.
The Chief Guest for the evening was Professor Durga D. Pathak, alumni of XLRI, Jamshedpur. The programme commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp and a prayer song followed by the academic procession led by the Principal, Vice Principals, coordinators and class teachers.
The students carried lamps and placed them beside the Mother Lamp signifying the message, ‘Let us spread the light of knowledge and dispel darkness and ignorance.’
Vice- Principal Suparna Roy welcomed the guests. Principal Gurpreet Bhambra bestowed her blessings on the students and wished them a bright future ahead.
‘Excelsior,’ the school magazine, was released on this occasion by the Chief Guest and the SMC members.
Club awards were given to the deserving students. Certificates and mementos were presented to all graduating students.
Anita Sharma and Malini Ashok anchored the events during the ceremony. K. Priya wished the students a bright future on behalf of her peers. Chandrashekhar (Chairperson, Finance) wished the students good luck for their board exams and all their future endeavors.
The occasion was graced by B Chandrashekhar (Chairperson Finance BOT), Anita Ramkrishna (Secretary), Kamala Venkat (Joint Secretary) Bhuvana Krishnan (Treasurer), Aruna Ravi (Joint Treasurer) along with SMC members Jayanti Ramamurthy, and Sri Vidya Narayan, Gurpreet Bhambra (Principal) and Ms. Suparna Roy and Ms. S. Shireen (Vice Principals) dignitaries from various units of D.B.M.S., teachers, parents and students.
