Grade revision and annual salary hike at Ramkrishna Forgings Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur, Sep 9: A grade revision and annual salary hike agreement was signed between the management and union of Ramkrishna Forgings Limited on Friday. The negotiation took place at Plant I of the company. It was decided to raise the salary of employees comprising basic pay till 31st March 2022 and allowance by 23 per cent and effect a hike of 3.5 per cent rise in annual salary, sources said.

As per the agreement, the company employees will get a minimum monthly pay hike of Rs 8000 and maximum of Rs 11,000. Also, all employees would get dearness allowance benefit at the rate of Rs 2 per point which would be determined on the basis of amended points fixed by the government every three month. The employees would get Rs 30 as heat allowance, Rs 25 as night shift allowance, Rs 20 as cleanliness allowance and Rs 25 as transportation allowance per day.

It was also decided today to regularize the services of five contract workers. Three more contract workers would be regularized after three months. The agreement would be effective for next four years with effect from 1st April 2022 onwards, sources said.

The agreement was signed by the CPO SP Senapati, Plant Head M Balamurali Krishna, DGM (HR) Manohar Pandey, Manager (HR) Rintu Mukherjee, Mainak Gupta, union president Abhay Kumar Labh, vice president Dinesh Ram and general secretary Tarkeshwar Yadav.
