Govind Vidyalaya Tamulia forms new student council

Jamshedpur, August 23: Govind Vidyalaya Tamulia held a significant event to form its new student council on August 23. The ceremony was attended by Chief Guest Mehtab Alam Ansari, Associate NCC Officer of the 37 Jharkhand Battalion, Army Camp, who administered an oath of discipline, strong will, diligence, dedication, and devotion to duty to the newly elected council members. The outgoing student council formally handed over their responsibilities to the new members through the hands of the Chief Guest. School Secretary Abhishek Sharma, Principal Krishna Modak, and Student Council In-charge Naushad Razia were also present at the ceremony. In his address, the Chief Guest stressed the importance of honesty and dedication in fulfilling their roles, assuring the students that success would naturally follow their committed efforts. He also provided valuable insights into the National Cadet Corps (NCC) and the three branches of the Indian Armed Forces. The event was smoothly conducted by Sarah Ali, a Class 10 student, and concluded with a vote of thanks from Naushad Razia. The newly appointed student council members include Jyoti Gorai as President, Anjana Pratap as Vice President, Faizan Khan as Secretary, Alo Kumbhkar as Joint Secretary, Altamash as School Captain (Boy), Alia Afreen as School Captain (Girl), Anand Kumar as School Vice Captain (Boy), and Rakia Zaman as School Vice Captain (Girl). The ceremony instilled a renewed sense of responsibility and enthusiasm among the students.
