Jamshedpur, June 24: Govind Vidyalaya, Tamulia organized GK quiz and Hindi debate competition at the school campus on Friday.
Students of Class 9 to 12 participated in the GK quiz, while students of Class 6 to 8 participated in Hindi debate competition.
The subject for Hindi debate competition was �Science is promoting unnecessary things’ wherein Alina Perween and Nikhil Kumar of Cosmos House were declared the winner followed by Achint Simran and Shanaz Perween of Daffodil House, while Satyam Sakhre and Faizan Khan of Rose House were declared third.
In the GK quiz, Yahiya Sulaiman, Harsh Kumar Singh, Rehan Alam Ansari and Md. Sharique Alam of Daffodil House were declared first, Sahil Sanjib, Prithivi Pratap Singh, Saif Mohammad Khan and Vishal Sharma of Lotus House were second, while Ankit Kumar Singh, Hamid Zaffar, Jatin Sharma and Sharique Mushtaque of Cosmos House were third.
The judges for the contest were teachers Varsha Sharma and Shabana Parween, while the event was hosted by Manju Kumari.
