Governor Raghubar Das receives jubilant welcome in Ranchi, illuminates Diwali festivities in Jamshedpur

Ranchi/Jamshedpur: Raghubar Das, the former Chief Minister of Jharkhand and the recently appointed Governor of Odisha, marked his inaugural visit to Jharkhand’s capital with a grand reception. At the Ranchi airport, a spirited crowd of enthusiastic BJP workers created an animated atmosphere with traditional drums, extending a warm welcome to Governor Das. The greeting included ceremonial body clothes, bouquets, and flower garlands, complemented by an esteemed guard of honor. The welcoming committee comprised prominent personalities such as Ranchi MP Sanjay Seth, MLA Naveen Jaiswal, various BJP leaders, and dedicated party workers. The administrative side was duly represented with the presence of Ranchi Deputy Commissioner and SSP. Following this reception, Governor Das proceeded to his hometown, Jamshedpur.

Odisha Governor Raghubar Das actively participated in the Diwali celebrations in his hometown, illuminating the festive spirit by lighting 11 thousand desi ghee lamps with members of the Sun Temple Committee at the Sun Temple complex in Sidhgora, Jamshedpur.

The temple transformed into a mesmerizing spectacle adorned with vibrant lights, echoing the festivities reminiscent of Ayodhya. Orchestrated by the Sun Temple Committee, the celebration extended to the premises of Shri Ram Temple and the entire temple complex, creating a luminous ambiance with colorful lights. The entire temple complex gleamed with the warm glow of innumerable lamps, turning the dark Amavasya night into a radiant full moon night. As the evening unfolded, the lamps emitted a golden hue, adding to the enchanting atmosphere of the festivities.
