Ranchi: Chief Minister Hemant Soren today said the state government was focusing on developing basic infrastructure in the rural parts of the state.
He was addressing a gathering during the Vikas Mela organized in the state Capital. He distributed assets and loans worth Rs 1450 crore among the beneficiaries of various schemes on the occasion.
He said the government was working on a special plan to boost rural economy in the state. He said piped water supply would be ensured in all villages of the state so that the people may get clean drinking water.
The CM also addressed the programme of the National Association of Blind in the state Capital in the evening. He said it was not possible for the government to give jobs to everyone.
Hence the government is making efforts to provide training to youths to make them self-employed. He further said that the government was committed to bring the physically challenged people to the social mainstream.
He said the human resource development department was planning to set up an organization for providing education to the physically challenged people of the state.
