Gamharia: Jharkhand Mukti Morcha leader and MLA Champai Soren today assailed the state government for allegedly ignoring the interests of the Adivasis and Moolvasis of the state.
He said the state government led by the Bharatiya Janata Party was trying to usurp the rights of the tribal and domicile people of Jharkhand.
He said the CM was a man who had migrated to this state in search of employment and hence it was not possible for him to gauge the pain of the Adivasis and Moolvasis.
Soren was speaking during the Jharkhand Mahila Morcha�s conference held at Rajasthan Bhavan, Gamharia. He said the CM was signing MoUs to set up new industries in the state, but was doing nothing for the displacement victims.
He appealed to the Adivasis and Moolvasis to unite for their rights and make the Maha Rally of JMM a grand success at Gopal Maidan, Bistupur, on 15th November.
District secretary of JMM Sukhram Hembram said the BJP government was trying to amend the CNT Act and the SPT Act to upset the Adivasi and Moolvasi people. He called for firm and united action against the move.
