Jamshedpur, Nov 13: “Good health is the only mantra to keep COVID-19 infection at bay. Being fit keeps depression away and provides the energy to faces the challenges of daily living with confidence. Above all, a fit body ensures good health and good health ensures optimism,” observed ace mountaineer Padma Shri Premlata Agarwal on the occasion of inaugurating a community gym at Srinath Residency complex on Saturday. She also give beneficial tips to the residents on fitness and their methods to make gym time enjoyable while working out there.
Others present on the occasion were Residency president Santosh Ranjan, secretary Pravin Kumar, treasurer Sanjiv Saxena, executive committee member Mithilesh Jha and other residents of the complex. The Society president Santosh Ranjan informed that the gym would be opened to the residents after the festivities were over. Mithilesh Jha expressed the hope that the gym would ensure good health and fitness to the residents. Secretary Pravin Kumar stated that all COVID-19 protocols would be observed during gym timings. The vote of thanks was offered by treasure Sanjiv Saxena. All COVID norms were maintained during the gym’s inauguration programme.
