Gold chain looted in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur, Oct 27: An unidentified man snatched a gold chain from a woman near Loyola School, Birsanagar, on Wednesday last. The victim, Kumkum Das, resident of Elegant Heights, Birsanagar, was returning home after dropping her child at the school. The culprit came from behind and snatched her chain. Before the victim could raise an alarm, the culprit escaped from the scene. The chain was worth Rs 65,000, she told cops.

Police reached the crime scene and began investigation into the loot. They also looked for CCTV cameras to get footage of the crime. They questioned several local residents about the incident.
