Jamshedpur: The Sakchi Bazaar Puja Committee organized Durgotsav at the Mill Area ground, will feature ritualistic offerings of Chhappan Bhog to the Deity on Mahashtami day on Friday, October 17. On Navami evening, visitors will be treated to devotional songs from 8 pm onwards.
Ma Durga�s pran prtishtha ceremony will take place on Maha Shasthi day. The Mother�s idol will be taken out in a procession for immersion on Maha Dashami, Friday, October 19.
A review meeting of the committee was held at the Puja ground to ensure that all arrangements had been made to ensure a peaceful Puja. The meeting was chaired by Sunil Kumar Debuka.
Among those who participated in the meeting were Radheyshyam Jawanpuria, Pankaj Sanghi, Lokesh Jawanpuria, Santosh Moonka, Sitaram Debuka, Bajrang Lal Agrawal, Asish Khanna, Bhola Moonka, Mahesh Chhapolia, Dilip Moonka, Pawan Singhania, Rohit Sanghi and others.
