Jamshedpur: A delegation of Tarun Mitra Mandal (TMM) met the Deputy Commissioner, East Singhbhum Amit Kumar and apprised him of the glitches being faced by the beneficiaries for availing of various government schemes.
The delegation members led by patron Captain Tarun and included Aftab Khan, Aftab Ali and others informed that in certain areas correction of Adhar, Ration and Voter cards were not being done. They also pointed out other areas of concern that needed rectification so that beneficiaries of the schemes could avail of them.
The DC assured the TMM delegation that corrective measures would soon be taken. He also invited the TMM to join hands with the district and police administration on February 5 when a road safety drive would be carried out.
Vehicle drivers would be given a number of tips on road safety during the drive of February 5.
