Jamshedpur, Aug 29: Narbheram Hansraj English School (NHES) on the occasion of National Sports Day organised, “UTKARSH” with the aim of promoting awareness about the importance of sports and being physically and mentally active in life.
A PowerPoint Presentation and GK Quiz on sports were organised, wherein many students from class 7 to 10 participated. The events were witnessed and appreciated by the students of the school.
It is worth mentioning that National Sports Day is marked to celebrate the birth of legendary hockey player, Major Dhyan Chand. The first ever National Sports Day was celebrated in India on August 29, 2012.
