Ranchi, April 2: After leaving BJP, Girinath Singh has once again returned to RJD. He took membership of the party at the RJD office in Patna.
RJD’s Bihar state president Jagdanand Singh welcomed him into the party. It is believed that the party can make him its candidate from Chatra parliamentary seat.
On March 30, Girinath Singh met Lalu Yadav at Rabri residence. After this there was talk that he would return to RJD. There is also discussion that RJD can contest him from Chatra Lok Sabha elections.
Girinath Singh has been MLA from Garhwa four times. He has also been the former state president of Jharkhand RJD. RJD had suspended him from the party for six years after he did not refute the news of his contacts with BJP leaders. After which Girinath resigned from RJD on 25 March 2019 and joined BJP.
