Jamshedpur, Dec 6: The control units (CUs), balloting units (Bus) and VVPATs of as many as 27 polling booths of Potka Assembly constituency would be deposited at the strong room next day of polling. The election officials of all other polling booths will have to deposit the machines on the day of polling, that is 7th December itself, sources said.
The polling parties have been directed to deposit all EVMs, BUs, CUs, VVPATs and documents at the reception counter of Jamshedpur Cooperative College which houses the strong room. The strong room will be sealed at noon after arrival of EVMs from all polling booths of the district.
