Jamshedpur, Nov 13 : The much-awaited results of the Ghatshila Assembly by-election are expected to be declared by around 12 noon on Friday, as vote counting begins at the Jamshedpur Co-operative College in the morning.

According to election officials, there will be 20 rounds of counting conducted across 15 tables, under tight security arrangements.

Officials from both the Election Commission and the district administration have confirmed that the process will begin early, with postal ballots to be counted first, followed by votes from EVMs.
Security around the counting centre has been tightened, and only authorised personnel and agents will be allowed entry.
The fate of the candidates will be sealed by mid-day as trends start emerging within the first few rounds.
