Chaibasa, Sept 10: Three transformers in Badalgada in Manjhari Block had been burnt due to lightening resulting in power problems. The transformers, one each near the Shiv Mandir, Raimulsai and the school near the market place were burnt. Singhbhum Parliamentarian Geeta Koda took the initiative and three transformers of 25 KV each were made available for replacement. The parliamentarian directed the parliamentary representatives Jitendranath Ojha, Lakhan Birua and Trishanu Roy to dispatch the transformers to Badalgada. Local residents present on the occasion were Pete Birua, Abhimanyu Kumhar, Vikram Birua, Gurucharan Birua, Rohit Kumhar, Kande Birua, Durgacharan Birua, Pahalwan Kumhar, Tupu Birua, Sukhlal Mandal, Suresh Bari, Karan Mandal, Dilip Mandal and others.
