Jamshedpur, July 16: Rotary Club of Jamshedpur Femina held its installation ceremony at the centre for excellence on Friday. On the occasion former President of the Club handed over the baton to newly appointed president Geeta Dubey. Chief Guest for the evening was industrialist and social worker Rupa Mahanty. PDG Dr. Bharat introduced Geeta and administered oath the oath of office to the new president. Later, addressing the gathering,
Geeta Dubey informed about the new projects to be undertaken by the club and pledged to complete the work with full dedication and sincerity.
At the event several members were felicitated for their commendable work toward the betterment of the society. This was followed by the announcement of new board directors for 2017-18. After taking the oath, Geeta Dubey said, the focus of Rotary Femina this year is water conservation, Adult literacy and development of village adopted by the club. In her speech, chief guest Rupa Mahanty appreciated the work done by the club.
She said that Rotary Femina is an all women’s club which is just four years old and with its work they have shown that women are always determined to work for the society.
