Govt to work for development of all : CM

Ranchi, February 10: Jharkhand Chief minister Champai Soren said that their government will look for development of all irrespective of caste, creed and religion and bridge the gap between rural and urban areas.

“Everyone will get respect in this state. There will be no discrimination against anyone. There will be justice for everyone. Will give rights to the people of the state with full respect. This is the resolution of our government and we are continuously moving forward in this direction with full commitment,” said Soren while addressing a function to mark distribution of assets to beneficiaries of Abua Awas Yojana at Garhwa in Palamu division on Saturday.

He said that no poor or needy person in the state will remain without a house. No person will have a raw and dilapidated house. Everyone will have their own home. The state government will provide three-room permanent houses to 20 lakh people .

The Chief Minister said that the way former Chief Minister Hemant Soren has done development work during his tenure in the last 4 years. The work done to empower every class and section of the society through various schemes will not stop now and it will be extended.

Champai Soren said that our government is running from the villages. Our effort is to reduce the gap between village and city in terms of facilities. In this direction, plans have been made keeping the villages and villagers in mind. To ensure that these schemes are not just on paper, they are visible on the ground, teams of officers are reaching people’s homes to solve their problems and connect them with welfare schemes.

The Chief Minister said that currently about 21 lakh electricity consumers in the state are availing the benefit of 100 units of free electricity every month. Now  government has decided to increase the electricity subsidy from 100 units to 125 units, which will directly benefit 31 lakh electricity consumers. With this, electricity will soon be provided to all the deprived villages.

Brahmanand Hospital is hardly 15kms from DC office/Tata Steel 20mtpa plant. Unfortunately, no roads, no drianage, no street lights, no educational institutions, no medical dispensary. Regular commuters more than 2000 per day. Development is zero. Auto rikshas always blocking joining road at NH33 Paridi chowk. On duty traffic police busy with money collections not for public safety
