Jamshedpur, Mar 11: The young woman who had claimed of being gangraped at Kanderbera under Chandil thana in Seraikela-Kharsawan district underwent medical examination at the MGM Hospital and later on she was also produced at the Seraikela Court to record her statement under Section 164.
Significantly, the woman was undergoing treatment at MGM Hospital since alleging of being gangraped and police could not produce her before Court to record her statement and also could not take her for medical test.
Human rights law network law officer, Amrita has come forward to fight her case. The girl was admitted in Chandil sub-divisional hospital on March 4 for treatment and a case was lodged against unidentifid persons for gangrape at Chandil thana. The woman is married and also has children. She had married a Muslim youth after love affair and her husband is in Ranchi jail over involvement in murder case. Her brother-in-law had also raped her.
