Gangour Sweets Jugsalai fined for encroachment

Several shops fined in Jugsalai on unlicensed trade

Jamshedpur, July 18: Gangour Sweets and several other establishments faced penalties during a special enforcement drive conducted by the Jugsalai Municipal Council on Station Road. Gangour Sweets was fined ₹2,000 for encroaching on public space, while six other shops were penalized ₹8,000 in total for operating without valid trade licenses.

The crackdown targeted unauthorized business activities and encroachments under municipal regulations. Shops fined included Ashiana Digital Home, Maa Vaishno Jewelers, Monty Stores, Muskurahat Dental Court, Food Court, and Dream Land.

The enforcement team included Revenue Inspector Umesh Prajapati, Rahul Kumar Das, Naseem Akhtar, Supervisor Dinesh Kumar, Sparrow Softech’s Team Leader Budheshwar Mandal, tax collectors, and Home Guard personnel. Shopkeepers were also advised to obtain proper licenses and comply with municipal norms to avoid future penalties.
