Baharagora: Gajan Parv was celebrated with fervour at Chitreshwar Shiva Mandir and Bhooteshwar Shiv Mandir situated on the Jharkhand-West Bengal border on Friday. A large number of devotees participated in the festivities. Many devotees pierced their tongues with needles and rods and walked barefoot several kilometers to reach the temples. Many devotees also walked on burning coals to pay obeisance to the Almighty.
