Jamshedpur, August 14: On Monday, under “Meri Mati Mera Desh”, various programs were organized by the Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee at the Children’s Park in Sidhgora.
In the beginning of the programme, the team of Tribal Oraon Samaj Purana Sitaramdera welcomed everyone by performing Kundukh dance under the leadership of Kareena Kujur.
In the welcome address, the Special Officer told that this campaign is an initiative to express our gratitude to the heroes by bowing down to them, who have made their supreme sacrifice for our freedom.

The Chief Guest of the program, the Senior Superintendent of Police Prabhat Kumar hoisted the flag.
A plaque was dedicated to the heroes who sacrificed their lives for the freedom of the country and for the protection of democracy, which was unveiled by the dependents of the heroes.

While saluting the heroes, the SSP honored constable 219 Bangi Soren, wife of constable 2561 late Dukhiya Murmu, who was martyred during an encounter with the militant at Musabani Tusu Mela on the night of January 18, 2015, by the Sub-Divisional Officer.
Late C. Bhi Rao, who was imprisoned in Bhagalpur Jail and Patna Jail during the freedom struggle and breathed his last in Patna Jail. His wife C. Subhalakshmi was honored by giving a copper plate, the Special Officer Late Bhim Tudu, assistant sub-inspector posted in the Latehar district force, who was martyred in 2011 in the bombing by Maoists, while performing his duty, wife of female constable 146 Arsu Tudu Honored with a copper plate.
A total of 75 saplings were planted to make this event unforgettable.
Under the Vasudha Vandan program, the soil of the heroes of Jamshedpur was kept in Amrit Kalash, which will be sent to the country’s capital, Delhi.
