Jamshedpur: The Primary Day at Kerala Public School (KPS) Kadma, showcased the talents of the children from Std 1 to Std 5 on Tuesday. There were around 443 participants.The show brought to life the colours of childhood. Nidhi Marwah, was the chief guest of the event. Commencing on a devotional note, the celebration embraced various facets of different states and its culture. The event kicked off with a soulful prayer song and the lighting of a ceremonial lamp, setting a reverent tone. Alamelu Ravishankar, Headmistress of Kerala Public School warmly welcomed everyone, emphasizing how this primary day celebration will help in the overall growth of a child. As rightly said , “All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy”.

So, apart from studies, all these fun filled activities is equally needed in their lives. The theme of the event was “ Atithi Devo Bhava”. A small skit depicting this theme was beautifully portrayed by the students. Different states of India was shown with various types of songs, dances, choral recitation, that filled the atmosphere with immense joy . It was so lovely to see the budding stars to perform so well on the stage. It was indeed, very appealing to our eyes. After a series of event, the chief guest addressed the gathering with her own experiences and praised whole heartedly the teachers and parents who were with the students to groom them to perfection and the parents for their co-operation.The vote of thanks given by a student Kanika Pramanik, the show concluded with the national anthem. Overall, the celebrations concluded on a happy note encouraging the students to establish further milestones in the journey of success.
